PROJECT
Labor Trafficking Awareness Campaign
INFORMATION
Mosaic Family Services and I initiated a collaboration to create a labor trafficking awareness campaign. The “Be Aware” campaign included brochures, web pages, and social postings.
Our research findings indicated that many awareness campaigns in the past perpetuated stereotypes, oversimplifications, and misconceptions of “ideal victims.”
The team explored alternative approaches to those ineffective awareness campaigns. Our solution combined graphic novels and infographics to tell realistic stories without sensationalism. It provided victims with relatable stories and enabled them to report human trafficking.
The project gave Mosaic Family Services an impactful tool in the fight against human trafficking.
